Cemetery of Prague attracts tourists.


Cemetery in the heart of the Czech capital, according to the travel server TripAdvisor, took third place in Europe by the level of attendance of travelers.
The cemetery was founded in 1787, but the oldest tomb dates from the middle of XV century and belonged to the poet Avigdor Kara. Here is buried the most famous figure of the Jewish town of Prague - Rabbi Leo (Ben Yehuda Lev Batsalel), scholar and philosopher of XVI century.
In total, at the cemetery are 12 thousands of tomb stones, though buried in a cemetery far more people: from the fact that the place was small, making the burial of several layers.
The first took place - Protestant Cemetery in Rome and the Austrian Zentralfriedhof.
