Florence - The Capital of Art.




















Florence welcomes every year millions of art traveler with its great museums, sculptures, art galleries, historical buildings and with the street artists.
Florence is the capital of the Tuscany Region in the Northern Italy.One of the Europe's most important cultural and art center. The city is home to Michelangelo's David, Botticelli's Birth of Venus and Raphael's Madonnas. Florence was the capital of the Old Italian Kingdom and established around the Arno River. The city is one of the most important trade centers of Italy and Europe. Known as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Leonardo da Vinci , Michelangelo and Dante Alighieri grew up in this city. Except history and cultural richness there are also many stylish restaurants, cafes and fashion shops.

For leather garments, just visit to the fifth street of Florence , Via dei Tornabuoni.Prices are quite expensive but you can find really high quality designs here.
Florence also famous for its open air markets. Specially San Lorenzo Market is very popular. In the market, leather goods, silk, knitted clothing, gloves, Venetian-style glassware, table cloths, linen fabric, women's underwear, night, jewelry, hats, bags, silver jewelry, toys, ceramics, wickerwork and local hand work can be found.
