Marlon Jackson, brother of pop musician Michael Jackson, plans to spend 5.3 billion dollars to build a case Slave Park in Nigeria.
The creator of the American soul group The Jackson 5, composed of the five Jackson brothers, and founder of the draft historic Badagry resort hopes that the park will attract tourists to Nigeria, African-Americans wishing to return to their roots. It was expected that during the first year of the park will be able to visit the 1.4 million tourists. Five years after the opening number of visitors is scheduled to increase to 4.4 million people.
In this park visitors will be able to visit the exact replica of vessels which transported slaves, and take the specially designed routes in shackles before play golf or relax by the pool.
Investment Group noted that the park not only tells the history of the transatlantic slave trade, but also provide jobs for Nigerians. Adventure tour will also help to get acquainted with African music, which is to promote the hologram, concert recordings, as well as restored and reproduced on the film rhythms 300 years ago.
