Russian tourists choose holiday in the Austrian Alps.

In Ischgl, one of the most popular in Europe, the Austrian ski resorts, the proportion of Eastern European tourists in the past 10 years has grown to more than 5 times.
Reported «Interfax» referring to the manager of marketing and PR Council of Tourism Region Ischgl-Patsnaun Dominica Walser. So, Mr. Walser said that in recent years, the national composition of the guests arriving in Ischgl, has changed: if in the past, about 80% were tourists from Germany, today to the German market accounts for just over 50% of the guests, the rest - mostly Russians, as well as tourists from Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, etc.
According to the Austrian representative for tourism in Russia and CIS countries, the number of Russians who visited Austria in 2008 exceeded 255 thousand, which is 55% more than in 2007.
