In Saudi Arabia, is planning large-scale construction project for the sport, known as King Abdullah Sports City.
Despite the global economic crisis, the project cost of $ 4 billion, will be built five major projects for various competitions.

According to the Mayor of Jeddah Adel Faqih, the project will allow the kingdom to carry out major international and local competitions in different sports.
Also, the hospital will be located in the treatment of athletes, a hotel for young people, the objects of transport infrastructure, residential and office space. The new city will be north of the port of Jeddah.
