Corum Museum.


The museum was opened on Oct. 13, 1968, he located in the city center, opposite the monument to the heroes. The museum building one, has four exhibition halls, a repository of old exhibits and photographic studio.
Museum worth visiting to see the rich collection of works found in Alacahoyuk, Bogazkoy, Ortakoy, Eskiyapar, Pazarli, Kussaray and Alihar Hoyuk.

But in the museum are exhibited not only archeological but also ethnographic works.
In the first exhibition hall and a corridor next to it can be viewed on items related to the era of Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine times: coins, ceramics, glass, boxes for spices, bottles, statuettes and figurines, sacramental vessels, sarcophagi, capitals, ornaments, etc. . All these works are exhibited in chronological order.
The second exhibition hall totally dedicated Hittite jug with wide neck, they are quite a lot. In addition, there are a few vases, fruit plates, stamps and other products.
In the corridor between the exhibition halls display ceramics, idols, bronze axes and different vessels belonging to the time.

In the third and fourth exhibition halls are carpets and Palace, a women's clothing, jewelry, weapons, metal art, hand-religious books.

Outside the museum is a magnificent fountain.
